AGSR 2005
I recently inherited the domain for the All Girls Scooter Rally and began building a website ... but Ned took it over rather quickly. Apparently, the idea of me using a CSS template instead of building it from scratch made his ears burn.
But it's been pretty fun playing web mistress because it makes me feel like I've participated in some way with the planning of the rally. If it's half as fun as last year then I know it will be one of the best weekends I've had all year.
I also wanted to mention the site because google isn't finding it when I search for "all girls scooter rally" or whatever. Right now it's on the 17th page of results. Yikes! How are scooter girls everywhere supposed to find the site and discover this rally w/o google?
There's so much more to post ... like the story of my violent stomach virus that kept me from Macy's wedding reception... but that will have to wait until another day. Hockey's on TV. Go Sabres!

you know how much i know abbout building webpages … but, CH’s old site pops up #3 or so when you search. Maybe you could ask her to redirect, or what secret meta she uses to pop to the top.

I know. Ned said more people need to link to it before Google will start recognizing it. I’ve sent an email to bill @ scoot.net but he didn’t reply or update the calendar listing. I should definitely ask ch to at least link to the new domain though. That’s a really good idea.
