A Hitchhiker's Enthusiasm

I was reading the New York Times review of tonight's big movie opening, when I came across two very exciting tidbits that I was not aware of... so exciting that it made me break my web-silence!

1st awesome thing: the Jim Henson Creature Shop was involved. Having recently seen Avenue Q in NY, my love for Muppets has been rekindled. Bring it on!

2nd awesome thing: Hammer and Tongs directed and produced the movie. Ok, ok... I wouldn't have recognized their name either if the NYTimes hadn't explained further. But they were the ones who did Blur's "Coffee and TV" music video, which I heart.

So... anyone up for a movie tonight??

Yea – there is 1 little detail that the Times piece left out – the little milk carton in the Blur video was made by the Jim Henson people… so, they obviously had a relationship in the past.

Also, I would like to point out that Damon is wearing a “Buffalo New York” t-shirt in that video. Pretty HOTT.
