UPDATE:
Kryptonite has promised to replace all disc locks. All you have to do is email them and they'll send you directions. And I'll tell you what -- I've already sent in my information. I'll let you know if and when I get my replacement -- and when I do, consider my faith in Kryptonite restored.
Cyclists and Scooterists beware ... Your brand new Kryptonite lock is not safe!
